Turned Coach at the young age of 33 and went through the respected programme of HPK Hämeenlinna, before he made the transition to the DEL 2 where he was part of the Coaching Team since 2018. Will take on the position as head Coach for the well known EV Füssen, where he'll take the Oberliga Team and the development programme to the next level. After changing to Kaufbeuren, Marko was voted Coach of the year in the DEL 2 in the season 2022/23, after finishing 2nd in regular season and continues his succesful work in Kaufbeuren in 2023/24.
